It’s Friday Wine Tasting in Exmouth Market: every week we’ll be opening our wine list bottles for tastings, food pairings and for pouring by the glass.
Today it’s a Greco Fiano. We love this biodynamic wine grown on volcanic soil in Italy. It’s rich and citrussy and we’re pairing it with Cannon & Cannon’s veal and sage salami. Ask for a cheeky taster and try a slice of the amazing salami. You can buy it by the bottle and by the glass: £4.50, 175ml glass; £21, bottle.

Coming soon to Exmouth Market… GB Pizza Co
We are proud (and stupidly-excited) to announce the opening of our second restaurant. Situated on London’s famous food street, we’ll be serving wood-fired British pizzas seven days a week in EC1.
From seaside to city centre, GB PIZZA CO Exmouth Market will build on the success of our first outlet in Margate. Dubbed “a serious slice on the seafront” by The Guardian, included as one of only two pizzerias in The Sunday Times’ annual Cheap Eats selection, and the only new entry in Kent into The Good Food Guide 2014, GB Pizza Co will use the second site to build on its growing reputation for Britishness and inventiveness, and showcase its pizza prowess to the capital’s most discerning diners.

We’ve had an amazing year and have had excellent coverage in the national press, including recommendations in The Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Observer, The Telegraph, Daily Mail and have been added into The Good Food Guide and Harden’s. Not bad in a little over a year of serving wood-fired pizza on Margate’s seafront.
To top off our year beautifully, we’d be ever-so grateful if you’d vote for us in the Taste Of Kent awards: we’re really proud of serving local, seasonal produce and championing local producers to our customers. This really is a very important award for us.

Fear ye not: we won’t be closing for more than a couple of days, so you’ll be able to get a Yuletide hit of wood-fired goodness. Here are our opening hours over the Christmas period.
